I'm developing curriculum for two classes as I'm teaching. It's sort-of insane...and I keep assigning papers. If they onnly knew that it hurt me more than it hurt them!!!
So, the challenges you already had were not enough, huh? Hang in there, friend; it's almost Thanksgiving.
Can't wait to hear about the new curriculum. It must be good?
Dalene - you are assigning more papers? If I can assign 3 papers per semester, that is over the top. I assign *paragraphs*. Even those are too many to grade!

Maria - I am actually enjoying teaching Dickens for the first time in my life. My kiddos are reading Hard Times and are learning some basics about Lit. Crit. Still, it is hard to keep one step ahead...
