This Week’s Theme: Pick a mythical person or creature (e.g., Santa, Thor, Easter Bunny), and explain through dialogue, essay, or anything else, why they are unhappy with their job or position in life. And now for something completely different - here's my post for this week. I'll be on the road next week, so I won't have a chance to post then. Looking forward to FF when I return! It’s not that I don’ like me job

very clever.. i considered a banshee but had no idea how to approach it... excellent work!!!!!
What exactly does a banshee do besides screaming? Interesting writing style
not just a banshee, but a Cockney bansee? Nice! I've yet to try rhyme/poetry [not since, oh, 20 years ago!], maybe I should give it a try one of these fridays :-)
That was cute. I hope you're having as much fun writing these as I am coming up with them.
Hello J@na,
I liked your poem! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Enjoy Life!

You slay me. Right in character, too. ;) This was definitely meant to be read aloud with an Irish brogue. I love this poem.
This is so fun. My husband does accents well, so I am going to have him read it to me tonight in his best female voice and full accent. Brilliant choice of character and job staying in character.
I had to read this out loud. I love the accent:) Very funny stuff.
So creative - everyone put their thinking caps on for this one. Oh, and a banshee does more than just screaming, I also do cleaning and cooking.

Agreed, clever poem and fun! Lyn from Bloggin' Outloud
Janie - you are funny! Yes, and this banshee occasionally leaves the house to run errands, but she is still screamin'
LOVELY!! i've loved banshees ever since darby o'gill & the little people. i've now got a new reason to love them. :)
