Mondays Suck

Not only is it a Monday (Mondays hardly ever fare well), but I had to report suspected child abuse today. Even if there is a teensy inkling that something isn't quite right, I am required by law to report because of my profession. This isn't the first time I've had to report; it's the all too explicit essay that does it every time. I never like reporting. Fill out twenty forms, sign in blood, leave a urine sample, etc. Well, I am exaggerating a little, but that's how I feel about the whole process.

Today I wish I had a different profession - such as a hooker.

I would love to be a hooker, only if I could have sex with gorgeous and pleasant men. However, I can't even do this now, let alone get paid for it!

Hooker...hmmm. You know, I don't think that the guys are going to pay to pleasure you. I think the hooker has to pleasure the guy.

they reported my mother for child abuse.

was your mom nicer after the report? I hate that I have to report "suspicions." I am suspicious about everything. I would rather only have to report physical evidence. I know this won't end well for me as far as the student is concerned. He will find out. Mandatory reporters do not have any anonymity (or so I was told by the case worker after I made said report). This all around sucks.

Good points about the hooker thing...you mean I would have to have sex with people who aren't pretty? The sex wouldn't be about me? Hmmm...I'll have to rethink that idea.

Oh, and the word verification for this comment post is "bdmtfk." Seems appropriate. There are a lot of options with that acronym.

Yeah, I am thinking that having sex with someone who is paying for it is not likely a good sign. If these guys were great in the sack they probably wouldn't have to pay for it. And from what I've heard, a guy can be bad to quite bad in the sack and still get it for free.

That's a point well taken, Gracie.

I hate to point this out, but there's that old adage. men aren't paying you for the sex, they're paying you to go home afterwards. I mean, Hugh Grant was caught with a hooker.

my mother didn't abuse me. the burns were from using a toaster to cook foods in a novel (yet as it turned out correctly unapproved) way.

That's just a saying. Guys who go to hookers are paying for the right to roll over guilt free and go to sleep (or zip up their pants and walk away).

Please, men fall in love after sex.
